Chess Club & Scholastic Center of Saint Louis

Established in 2008, the Chess Club and Scholastic Center of Saint Louis is a non-profit organization created to share the fun and educational benefits of chess to all walks of life and abilities. Starting from scratch—and a gutted space—I worked closely with an interior designer and signage manufacturer to create a cohesive, branded experience for the club’s future home. I designed the logo, exterior and interior signage, and their business papers. After they opened their doors, I continued to design various banners, fliers, and brochures advertising upcoming events. The graphics lay the foundation of their look and tone that is still in use today.
